Fall is in the air
Autumn is a beautiful time for a wedding in Delaware, and I recently had the pleasure of photographing a small, intimate wedding at Killens Pond Nature Center in Felton, Delaware.
The September evening was perfect for an outdoor wedding, with the beautiful surroundings of Killens Pond State Park providing a great backdrop for photos. Smaller weddings are a great fit for couples who want a more relaxed celebration while still having professional photography to capture the important moments.
I started the evening with photos of the groom and his groomsmen, followed by the bride and her bridesmaids. After that came the ceremony, which was short and sweet.
Following the ceremony, we spent some time around the park taking wedding portraits of the newlyweds, making use of the natural scenery around Killens Pond. We then captured a few quick formal dances before my coverage wrapped up for the evening.
Even with a shorter wedding, there are still plenty of moments worth preserving. That's what I enjoy most about wedding photography, focusing on the couple and capturing the genuine moments, emotions, family connections, and memories that may only happen once.
